INDUCTION ELECTRIC MOTORS, EXPLOSION-PROOF, WITH SQUIRREL-CAGE ROTOR, VAO2- SERIES.

Explosion-proof three-phase induction motors with squirrel-cage rotor, VAO2 - 280, VAO2 - 315, VAO2 - 355 are designed for driving fixed machines and mechanisms in gaseous and dusty mines as well as in explosion hazardous areas of all types and outdoor installations, where explosive mixtures of gas, vapours or dust with air (of IIA, IIB explosion risk categories and T1, T2, T3, T4 groups of inflammability) may be formed.

Electric motors can be produced with the following degrees of explosion protection: ExdI or ExdIIBT4.

Electric motors can be designed for three different climatic conditions: for areas with temperate climate, cold weather and for regions with damp and dry tropical climate.

Electric motors are designed for operation in the S1 mode at three-phase alternating current, 50 Hz for rated voltage of 380/660 V with power up to 200 kW (at power more than 200 kW - for voltage of 660V).

By agreement electric motors of other voltage (up to 500V) as well as of 60Hz are produced.
